Job Summary
3 Brothers Group is seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Design Engineer – LV Panels & Busway to join our engineering team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and reviewing electrical designs for low-voltage panels and control systems, ensuring high-quality technical deliverables and compliance with applicable engineering standards.
The ideal candidate should have strong experience in LV panel design, excellent knowledge of electrical control systems, and the ability to lead and support junior engineers.
Key Responsibilities
Design and develop electrical systems for Low Voltage (LV) Panels and Busway systems.
Prepare and review technical drawings, including Single Line Diagrams (SLDs) and detailed panel drawings.
Develop electrical designs in accordance with project requirements, technical specifications, and applicable standards.
Ensure the accuracy, quality, and compliance of all electrical design deliverables.
Coordinate with relevant engineering and production teams to ensure the proper implementation of designs.
Review technical requirements and provide appropriate design solutions.
Support troubleshooting and resolve technical design issues during project execution.
Manage multiple design projects while meeting required deadlines.
Guide and support junior engineers and contribute to the development of the engineering team.
Qualifications & Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Power Engineering.
3–5 years of relevant experience in electrical design, particularly in Low Voltage Panels.
Previous experience with panel builders is required; experience with Schneider systems is preferred.
Strong technical knowledge of Low Voltage Panel design.
Excellent proficiency in EPLAN, particularly in preparing Single Line Diagrams (SLDs) and technical drawings.
Good knowledge of control systems, PLC, and HMI systems.
Strong understanding of electrical engineering principles and applicable industry standards.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Good leadership and task-management abilities.
Ability to guide and support junior engineers.

The successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing project requirements, preparing technical designs, shop drawings, and competitive proposals for Building Automation Systems (BMS), KNX, HVAC control, and Energy Management solutions. This role requires strong technical knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate with Sales and Operations teams to deliver high-quality tender submissions.
Key Responsibilities
1. Solution Design
Analyze project drawings, specifications, BOQs, and tender documents to understand project requirements.
Design Building Automation solutions including KNX, BMS, HVAC Control, and Energy Management Systems.
Prepare complete shop drawings with all required technical details and documentation.
Ensure designs comply with project specifications and applicable engineering standards.
2. Tender & Proposal Preparation
Prepare technical and commercial proposals for tender submissions.
Develop technical submittals and supporting documentation.
