This role is responsible for driving strategic direction, overseeing the design and execution of automation solutions, managing site installations, and ensuring operational excellence across all functions. This role combines technical expertise, business strategy, and leadership to deliver innovative solutions and ensure client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define and execute the business unit strategy aligned with company objectives.

  • Lead end-to-end automation projects: design, execution, commissioning, and handover.

  • Oversee site installations, ensuring compliance with technical specifications and safety standards.

  • Drive technical proposals, costing, and pricing strategies to ensure competitiveness and profitability.

  • Collaborate with sales, engineering, operations, and technical teams for smooth project delivery.

  • Maintain compliance with ISO standards (ISO 9001, 14001, 45001) and internal procedures.

  • Prepare and present operational and performance reports to senior management.

  • Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing team, ensuring alignment with company goals.

  • Monitor KPIs, conduct performance evaluations, and implement continuous improvement plans.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Automation, or related field.

  • 9+ years of experience in automation or smart building solutions, including at least 3 years in a managerial role.

  • Proven track record of delivering end-to-end automation projects.

  • Solid knowledge of ISO standards, project management methodologies, and operational best practices.

Job Summary: The Automation Technical Office Team Leader is responsible for leading the technical office team in designing building automation systems (BMS & KNX), preparing technical proposals, and generating competitive commercial offers. This role ensures high-quality, accurate, and compliant tender submissions, supporting the sales and project delivery teams with technical expertise.

Key Responsibilities:

               Develop detailed project proposals, quotations, and commercial offers.

               Prepare and review tender documents in compliance with client specifications.

               Design and develop BMS and KNX systems, including system architecture, network designs, schematics, and point lists.

               Prepare Bills of Materials (BOMs) and detailed specifications.

               Liaise with clients to clarify technical requirements and address queries.

               Provide technical guidance during the pre-sales process and support sales teams in demonstrating solutions.

               Lead, mentor, and coordinate the technical office team to ensure adherence to deadlines and quality standards.

Qualifications & Experience:

               Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Automation, or related field.

               5+ years of experience in automation or building automation systems, with hands-on experience in BMS and KNX.

               Proven experience in preparing technical proposals and tender documents.

               Strong knowledge of BMS & KNX architecture, system design, and industry standards.

           Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, DIALux, DIALux Evo, SketchUp, Lumion, and 3ds Max.

           Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

           Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

           Knowledge of energy-efficient and sustainable lighting solutions.
